Action 22 is a membership coalition of individuals, businesses, cities, counties and organizations in 22 counties working on common issues of concern through its committees including: Agriculture/Public Land and Natural Resources; Transportation; Tourism; Economic Development; and Legislative Task Force.

SCEDD is a non-profit organization whose membership is the 13 counties of Southeastern Colorado. From Leadville to Trinidad to Springfield, SCEDD has helped counties and communities find ways to position themselves to attract and accept new businesses. SCEDD helps with planning and finding funds for improving infrastructure so areas are ready when a business comes calling.
