City of Hasty

Hasty is an unincorporated town that was homesteaded in 1886 by W.A. Hasty. A townsite was laid out and the Santa Fe Railway named the town for him. Hasty has scattered development across approximately 115 acres of land south of U.S. 50 near John Martin Reservoir. Land uses in Hasty include single family residences, a limited area of vacant highway-oriented commercial, a general store, post office, and a park with ball fields.
